Special advisor professor Dr. Vladimir Kozar<\/a> and Managing Partner of Aleksi\u0107 & Associates, Dr. Nemanja Aleksi\u0107<\/a>, will present a co-authored article titled “Compensation of Claims in Bankruptcy Proceedings” at the 28th Gathering of Corporate Lawyers: “Economy and Businesses”, which will be held from 27 – 29 May 2019 at the hotel “Mona” on Zlatibor.<\/p>\n

The paper presents the legal provisions, opinions on court practices, and thoughts regarding the legal profession and the settlement of claims in bankruptcy proceedings. The current Bankruptcy Law (2009) introduced a new concept of lawfully permitted and limited compensation. The previous Law on Bankruptcy Procedure (2004) did not regulate this matter, and the lack of specific regulations in that period led to the development of court practice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
