On July 6, 2020, the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Serbia adopted a Conclusion obliging the presidents of the courts seated in the territory of the local self-government unit where the competent body declared a state of emergency due to the natural disaster caused by the spread of the infectious disease COVID-19, to organize the work of the respective courts in accordance with the decision on determining special measures for the protection of population from the infectious disease COVID-19 on the territory of those local self-government units.

A special regime of the work of the courts referred in the Conclusion will last until adoption of the decision ending the state of emergency.

The president of the court is obliged to inform the High Judicial Council about the decision and the manner in which the work of the court has been organized.
